Traditional Mackintosh

Handmade in Scotland, these Mackintoshes represent classic craftsmanship. Charles Mackintosh created the Mackintosh 200 years ago. His touch of genius was to sandwich a spreadable sticky substance between two layers of cloth creating the first truely waterproof fabric. It was used by the British Army in World War I and World War II. Now the Mackintosh has transfered elegantly from war to peace.
